5 Hair and Makeup

HAIR & MAKEUP PREPARATION

A picture is worth a thousand words therefore having 1-2 reference images helps me understand your style. I always suggest finding reference images where the model has similar features to your own e.g hair length and colour. If you have a preferred lip colour please bring it to your appointment so I can create a look with this in mind. 1 hour is allocated per person unless otherwise discussed, however I can run early so please arrive 20 mins prior to your scheduled time. Once all services are complete there will be time for touch ups.

 

SCHEDULE

HAIR

  • Wash your hair twice the night before and leave it to dry naturally product free.

  • Shampoo twice and then condition mid lengths to ends. No hair masks or treatments the night before. A salon quality shampoo and conditioner helps with the longevity of your style so I highly recommend using this.

  • Blow dry hair smooth and leave product free. You can use a small amount of heat protector in the ends if required - No straightening irons, hair oil, leave in treatments please.

  • If you plan to use extensions, please ensure they are clean and dry.

  • Hair must be 100% dry for your allocated time slot to ensure the schedule stays to time.

  • If you have fine hair, prone to getting oily or limp, please wash and dry your hair the morning of your booking.

  • Reference images of hair style you like helps me understand your style. Please select 1-2 images where the model has similar hair colour and length to you

  • A dining room chair, large table and access to power will be required for the day.

MAKEUP

  • Arrive with a freshly cleansed face and apply your usual skin care. This will be removed prior to makeup application.

  • Face or sheets masks are fine to appy prior to your appointment.

  • If you have had a spray tan and your face isn’t tanned, that’s fine I’ll even you up on the day.

  • If you are allergic or sensitive to makeup or skincare products, feel free to bring your own and can use them if required.

  • Please have a large table ready for set up such as a dinning table with access to power and near natural light.

  • You’ll need to have touch up products such as lipstick products and a powder.

  • Lash lifts are not recommended as this makes flase lash application near impossible. Lash extensions are fine and a light coat of mascara will be applied to ensure the lashes remain dark.

  • Please wear a shirt or open neck top so I can clearly reference the colour of your neck and décolletage.

  • If you are camera shy and would prefer to not have photos taken please let me know (that’s completely fine).
